About Me
Wow! How does one write about oneself without being self-centered and/or self absorbed? I am not very good at describing myself, but I guess there is no way around it. I am no one special and no more important than anyone reading this right now. I am a regular guy. I get up every morning and get ready for work. I work between 8 and 9 hours a day, I come home to my TV, my guitars, my laptop, and a stack of bills.
I was born in Liverpool, England and have also lived in Jamaica, W.I. I moved to South Florida in 1977 and have been here ever since.
I love to travel and have been to just about every Caribbean island, Mexico, Costa Rica, and Honduras. I guess you could say I am an island boy....lol.... I love island life. I have family that live on Roatan, Honduras (paradise on Earth). I would love to join them there one day. One of these years I will make it over there. I also have family in Jamaica, Virgin Islands. and Great Britain (Hey, it's an island!!!). UPDATE - I have made the move and as of 2012, I am now a resident of Roatan, Islas de Bahia, Honduras!!!! Living the island life and enjoying every minute of it!!
The only thing I love more than the islands, outside of family, is the guitar. I love learning, listening, watching and playing. Although my roots are in rock, I enjoy all guitar music Rock, Metal, Blues, Jazz, Flamenco, Classical, Spanish you name it, I love it !!! I try to play as often as I can, but it is tough when work and the distractions of life get in the way.
